Wot, no cheese???

And here we are...! Ain't it pretty!!! I've had you're fairly average start to the day! Pootle and Perkin, my pet chooks, have now gone under cover and are attempting a break-in into the main chook run, ducking and diving behind shrubs, then shimmying along the ground on their tums....... and I don't get it!!! I mean, chooks are supposed to want to be free range, aren't they???? not have a yearning to be in a run.. stoopid birds... so there they are, outside, taking running jumps at the fence and crashing into it.. *rolls eyes* decked out in their night vision goggles (bit thick) DMs and coombats ( get it?? Coombats lol well I thought it was funny...)... anyway I have a plan and that is! To just open the gate!! Figure then they can all come and go as they please... total confusion in the garden but such is life, well mine anyway..... Had a fairly quiet and uneventful drive to school... ish, til Mags shouted "I'VE FORGOT ME THING FOR SHOW AND TELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Compete panic in her eyes and a feverish yet thoughtful look on her face..and then Dan helpfully piped up.."Oh you can take mum!" Eh?? I ain't being anyone's show and tell!! Mags considered this option for a few very, very long minutes and the decided that while it was an idea, worthy of some merit.... she didn't think she'd be able to carry me in and also I wouldn't fit in the draw where all things for show and tell had to be kept...... more than a teensy bit relieved, let me tell you! Luckily I had a handy pair of well used gloves in the car and old sponge, which should keep them entertained for awhile.... here's hoping.... *gulp* I can feel a summons to the Head's office conming on..............
